How it Rides

Here I will post about the performace of my 2008 49.5 cc Tomos Sprint.

Day One- The muffler wasn't bolted on. No biggee, just a reminder to check the machine for bolt tightening etc

Day One - High beams don't work, had to plug in white wire under lamp. Now the horn does not work. Ill have to figure this out at shop. I'd like the horn to work.

Gas- so far I've used high octane mixed 1:50 with Amsoil 2 stroke racing oil. I'll update gas mileage as I get enough miles in to calculate. As of the first 800 miles I am getting 120 miles per gallon.

Speed- Traveling speeds seem to be 25-28, 30ish on downhills, 20-25 on uphills. My dad who is 35 lbs over me got it up to these speeds as well so it doesn't seem to be the engine's power that is holding it back.

Dangers- One guy pulled out in front of me already. I now drive with my light on and just assume I am invisible. I crashed the other day, started the bike while I was off it like the manual says. I slipped, hit the throttle and it took off with me running after it. Then I tripped over it and it dumped, bent a foot rest. No real harm. I did get a half helmet. I think some kind of eye protection would be good too. My eye glasses are just too small.
